Using Flutter to build a native-looking desktop app for macOS and Windows

Abstract:

It is indeed possible to achieve an adaptive and native-looking UI for desktop platforms with Flutter. In my talk, I will be presenting the methods and tools I used to build and ship a Flutter desktop app for macOS and Windows, with a UI that matches closely each platform's design standards (components like buttons or icons, typography, animations, title bars, etc.).

Biography:

I am a self-employed app developer. My main background is web development, but I have been using Flutter for the past year or so and have published apps for all platforms, mobile and desktop. I also contribute to open-source and am an author of a couple of Flutter packages.
